A Little Bit About Our Firm....

The firm that is now Bjelajac & Kallenbach, LLC began in 2005 when the partners from two venerable Racine law firms, including John Bjelajac and Terry Kallenbach, merged into a single firm...but we have deep roots in Wisconsin and in Racine that go back many years before that.

With over 90 years combined experience, Bjelajac & Kallenbach, LLC has the knowledge and expertise to help solve your legal issues. But being “long in the tooth”, as the saying goes, does not mean we are behind the times. While we have always kept up with the latest technology in order to comply with court requirements such as e-filing, when we were faced with the challenges brought on by the pandemic in 2020, we decided to tackle them head-on. Our bookkeeper, Leslie, had already been working fully remotely since 2009, so in a way we were cutting edge. In 2020, we knew we needed to determine the most effective way to continue to provide our clients with uninterrupted service. Ultimately, the best way to serve our clients was to have a fully remote, virtual office.

What this means for our clients is that we are flexible to handle meetings and communications in whatever way works best for them. We can meet with you face-to-face at a location that suits you, be it your home, your business, John’s or Terry’s home office, or over lunch or coffee. Meetings can also be done by videoconference (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.) or by phone. Documents can be circulated by email, in person, or yes, even by fax. Many documents can now be signed electronically, and we have various means of accomplishing that, but we also welcome in-person signings. The key is for us to make things as easy and convenient for our clients as possible.

The satisfaction of our clients is our top concern. Though our work environment has changed, our commitment to our clients remains the same: we are here for you. Our legacy is one of client focus and care. Together, as a firm, we are committed to preserving that legacy for you.
